Le gouvernement togolais et Africa50 ont proc\u00e9d\u00e9 lundi 3 juillet 2023 \u00e0 Lom\u00e9 \u00e0 la signature d\u2019une convention de recyclage d\u2019actifs pour le chantier de la route Lom\u00e9-Kpalim\u00e9. Cette c\u00e9r\u00e9monie intervient en marge du premier forum Infra for Africa et l\u2019assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des actionnaires de Africa50, en pr\u00e9sence du chef de l\u2019Etat, Faure Essozimna Gnassingb\u00e9.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le document a \u00e9t\u00e9 sign\u00e9 pour la partie togolaise par le ministre de l\u2019Economie et des finances, Sani Yaya, et du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de Africa50 par son Directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, Alain Ebobiss\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avec cet accord, le gouvernement togolais peut se lib\u00e9rer de tout ou partie de la dette associ\u00e9e au projet de la nationale N\u00b05, ce qui permettra ainsi de d\u00e9gager une marge budg\u00e9taire pour affecter les investissements publics \u00e0 d\u2019autres infrastructures prioritaires pour le pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019ambition est d\u2019optimiser le capital de l\u2019Etat togolais, en r\u00e9duisant consid\u00e9rablement le niveau d\u2019endettement. Le pays aura alors la possibilit\u00e9 de disposer de plus de ressources pour rembourser la dette de construction de cette route ou de constituer de nouveaux fonds pour financer un nouvel actif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019accord facilitera aussi un nouveau partenariat pour la conception d\u2019exploitation de cette infrastructure routi\u00e8re. Il permettra ainsi aux usagers de la route, de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019un service am\u00e9lior\u00e9 conforme aux normes internationales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cet appui de Africa50 est non seulement la r\u00e9sultante de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de la diplomatie \u00e9conomique du chef de l\u2019Etat, mais aussi de sa politique de bonne gouvernance et sa d\u00e9termination \u00e0 faire des infrastructures routi\u00e8res, un pilier du d\u00e9veloppement socio\u00e9conomique du pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
