A ce titre, le conseil des ministres tenu lundi 02 f\u00e9vrier 2026 \u00e0 Lom\u00e9 sous la direction du pr\u00e9sident du conseil a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 la nomination de deux nouveaux pr\u00e9fets et reconnu 15 chefs canton par d\u00e9cret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ainsi, selon le communiqu\u00e9 ayant sanctionn\u00e9 le conseil, au titre des nominations pour le compte du minist\u00e8re de l\u2019administration territoriale, de la gouvernance locale et des affaires coutumi\u00e8res : Commandant VIAGBO Mensah Kafui est nomm\u00e9 pr\u00e9fet d\u2019Assoli ; Monsieur KOUMAGNANOU Amavi est nomm\u00e9 pr\u00e9fet de Danyi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>le conseil a enfin proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 la reconnaissance par d\u00e9crets de quinze (15) chefs de canton, d\u00e9sign\u00e9s par voie de consultation populaire ou de succession coutumi\u00e8re, conform\u00e9ment aux dispositions de la loi relative \u00e0 la chefferie traditionnelle et au statut des chefs traditionnels Cette mesure vise \u00e0 r\u00e9gulariser la d\u00e9signation de ces chefs de cantons, en leur conf\u00e9rant la l\u00e9gitimit\u00e9 juridique n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 l\u2019exercice des attributions et responsabilit\u00e9s qui leur sont conf\u00e9r\u00e9es par les lois et r\u00e8glements en vigueur.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le gouvernement togolais continue sa dynamique d\u2019\u00e9largissement de l\u2019\u00e9quipe ex\u00e9cutive.
