Apr\u00e8s Lom\u00e9 et Niamtougou, le pays met le cap sur une nouvelle ambition en mati\u00e8re d’infrastructures a\u00e9roportuaires. Gbatop\u00e9, localit\u00e9 situ\u00e9e dans la pr\u00e9fecture de Zio, devient d\u00e9sormais le c\u0153ur battant d’un projet structurant : la construction d’un troisi\u00e8me a\u00e9roport international strat\u00e9gique pour accompagner la croissance \u00e9conomique du pays.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le projet incarne la volont\u00e9 de moderniser et de renforcer le r\u00e9seau de transport a\u00e9rien. Il vise \u00e0 d\u00e9sengorger l’a\u00e9roport international Gnassingb\u00e9 Eyadema de Lom\u00e9, tout en offrant une desserte plus \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e pour le centre du pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’initiative cible une \u00e9tendue de 7 026 hectares, couvrant les localit\u00e9s de Gbatop\u00e9 n\u00b01 et n\u00b02. Ce choix repose sur un positionnement g\u00e9ographique strat\u00e9gique, \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de la capitale et d’un axe routier majeur, facilitant ainsi l’accessibilit\u00e9 et la connectivit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une vision coh\u00e9rente du maillage a\u00e9roportuaire<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce nouveau projet s’inscrit dans la continuit\u00e9 d’une politique logistique nationale d\u00e9j\u00e0 amorc\u00e9e. Le Togo dispose \u00e0 ce jour de 2 a\u00e9roports internationaux. Celui de Lom\u00e9, modernis\u00e9 en 2016, enregistre en moyenne 950 000 passagers chaque ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il fonctionne comme un hub r\u00e9gional, avec plus de 25 liaisons internationales, sous la gestion de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a\u00e9roportuaire de Lom\u00e9-Tokoin (SALT) en partenariat avec Asky et d’autres compagnies. \u00c0 cela s’ajoute l’a\u00e9roport de Niamtougou, situ\u00e9 dans la r\u00e9gion des Savanes, qui r\u00e9pond \u00e0 des besoins logistiques, militaires et humanitaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S’il reste encore sous-exploit\u00e9 sur le plan commercial, il joue un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans la couverture nord du pays. Le futur a\u00e9roport de Gbatop\u00e9 vient ainsi compl\u00e9ter ce maillage, avec pour ambition d’\u00e9quilibrer davantage la r\u00e9partition des infrastructures sur le territoire national.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une phase fonci\u00e8re encadr\u00e9e et concert\u00e9e<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avant toute construction, la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape consiste \u00e0 s\u00e9curiser les terrains. Une mission fonci\u00e8re, d’une dur\u00e9e de 4 mois, est en cours. Elle est pilot\u00e9e par le minist\u00e8re de l’Urbanisme, en collaboration avec la Direction des affaires domaniales, les autorit\u00e9s pr\u00e9fectorales et les collectivit\u00e9s locales. L’objectif est de borner et d’enregistrer les terres, tout en associant pleinement les communaut\u00e9s riveraines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les autorit\u00e9s mettent un point d’honneur au respect des proc\u00e9dures, notamment en ce qui concerne les indemnisations, afin d’\u00e9viter les conflits fonciers et de garantir la transparence du processus. L’a\u00e9roport de Gbatop\u00e9 s’inscrit dans une dynamique plus large de d\u00e9veloppement des infrastructures. Ce projet vise \u00e0 stimuler l’\u00e9conomie locale, \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des zones logistiques et industrielles autour du site, \u00e0 renforcer la connectivit\u00e9 nationale et r\u00e9gionale, et \u00e0 g\u00e9n\u00e9rer de l’emploi, aussi bien durant les travaux que dans l’exploitation future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une ambition align\u00e9e avec la Vision 2030<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’initiative port\u00e9e \u00e0 Gbatop\u00e9 refl\u00e8te la volont\u00e9 du Togo de transformer structurellement son \u00e9conomie \u00e0 l’horizon 2030. Elle illustre un choix affirm\u00e9 en faveur d’investissements productifs et d’un am\u00e9nagement plus \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 du territoire. Les mois \u00e0 venir seront cruciaux pour valider les \u00e9tapes administratives, mobiliser les financements n\u00e9cessaires, d\u00e9finir un calendrier clair de mise en \u0153uvre et surtout, mesurer les impacts positifs attendus pour les populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
